Hi friends! I thought I would stop in and share one of the projects I have been working on. Thank you for all the well wishes and hopefully things will loosen up and I will be back soon to soak in all your wonderful creations.
This is a video entitled "Bullies" Please note!! It does contain course language so...
viewer discretion is advised. : )
"Bullying is a serious issue. Growing up we were always taught that we should stand up to bullies. That the bully was a coward. That lesson served us well.
Bullying extends beyond our hallways, classrooms and schoolyards.
We continue to face it in almost every facet of our daily lives. We find bullies in our homes, workplaces, financial institutions, churches, media, medical communities, government, and courts. This is a song addressing those bullies in our lives and with that being said…this film may contain course language. Viewer discretion is advised." Bob Rylett "Bullies"

Will be away from D.A. for a spell.
I have more than a few projects on my plate right now and it has left me with very little computer time.
I LOVE this place and the amazing talent and the many friends I have met here. I sincerely wish everyone
good health, a happy heart and may your creative juices flow like a thousand waterfalls converging.
I will be returning when this busy period subsides a bit.
Thanks so much for your wonderful support, your kindred spirits and most of all the touching friendships I have found and cherish here.
Talk soon,
Bob

Friends I never do this.
I am currently in the studio working on the new record. I am working with a very talented and sought out producer and recording at the famed Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver B.C.
Our National Radio and Television network is looking for a Canadian artist to spotlight and I am in the running.
I never enter these because I don't like "Art as a contest." It doesn't resonate for me. BUT my producer is insisting that I enter and attempt to get the exposure offered. Tough guy to argue with.
So, that being said, at this link http://music.cbc.ca/#/artists/Bob-Rylett AND...there is no sign up.

A Letter to Xavier High School from Kurt Vonnegut.
Hello friends.
I thought I would share this for people that haven't come across it. I was fortunate enough to meet Kurt Vonnegut in the 90's. He was then, and continues to be one of my favourite writers, so meeting the man in person was a thrill of a lifetime. He was as charming and gracious as you can well imagine. Very giving of his time and his attention. I have devoured his writings over and over again and to this day I find myself reaching for one of his books when I need inspiration, motivation or even solace in my day to day World.

Hello Bob...
Great song about a serious issue indeed!
And let us not forget...there are the bully, the bullied and the bystander...
A single dad once said, “People who love themselves, don’t hurt other people. The more we hate ourselves, the more we want others to suffer.”
